A professor at the Art Students League in New York once told Victoria "discovery, desertion and  rediscovery of places and emotions. Each movement forward we retrace old and worn footprints that we left long before". Everyone lives in his own world, and the painter returns to that world to create, and to reveal this interior world to others. The paintings that are successful are the ones in which people can recognize this interior world.
